One year more, the University of Barcelona participates in the Saló de l’Ensenyament (education fair) to present its educational offering for 2014-2015 academic year. The 25th edition of the Saló takes place from 12 to 16 March, at Palau 2, at Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona. The Saló is the main education show in Catalonia: it receives around 70,000 visitors every year and, this year, it has 241 exhibitors. The University of Barcelona has a stand to present its educational offering for 2014-2015 academic year.

UB also has a stand at Espai Ciència. Visitors can know better research and innovation activities conducted by some research groups of UB in different subject areas, for instance Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Medicine and Philosophy. Researchers show and share with visitors their work by means of workshops and interactive activities, like demonstrations and scientific experiments, in order to promote students’ interest in scientific and technological studies.

Our team working on Gaia had also the opportunity to show their research and explain to all visiting students the Gaia mission and their associated science and technology associated.
