Eduard Masana, lecturer at the Physics Faculty and researcher of the Gaia group of the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona (ICCUB), explains how the perspective changes the way we see the stars in the sky, and how not all the stars are at the same distances, but they could be very far from each other. The Gaia group at the University of Barcelona (IEEC – ICCUB), in cooperation with DAPCOM Data Services (a technological spin-off company of the UPC and the UB), has published an alternative copy of the bulk data files from Gaia EDR3 – the Early Data Release 3 from Gaia.
