Her research interest is in Galactic astronomy from an observational perspective. Leader of the IGAPS photometric survey that covers the plane of the Milky Way from the Northern hemisphere. She is part of the WEAVE work team, a multifiber spectrograph for the William Herschel Telescope. She studies the structure of the Galaxy, specially its spiral arms, and how it can be seen from young stars.
After finishing her Ph.D. at the Universitat de Barcelona in 2013, she has been a postdoc in the University of Alacant and the University of Hertfordshire (UK).
