Red Española para la explotación científica de Gaia

La Red Española para la explotación científica de Gaia (REG) es una red temática abierta a la comunidad astronómica española dedicada al intercambio científico entre investigadores en todas aquellas líneas relacionadas con la explotación científica de los datos que aportará el satélite astrométrico Gaia.

		WEAVE: A new wide-field MOS for the WHT 03/10/2011: Start of WEAVE project stage I, in which the user requirements will be captured. Final science cases and a concept-of-operations document will be delivered by 16 December
		Gaia mirrors ready to shine (18/09/2011) ESA's Gaia mission has passed another major milestone after the completion of 10 state-of-the-art mirrors that will be used to measure the precise positions of a billion stars. With the delivery of the last of these complex mirrors, Europe has further reinforced its position as the world leader in silicon carbide mirror technology.
