Claus<\/span> Fabricius<\/span> worked for many years<\/span> at the University of<\/span> Copenhagen,<\/span> participated initially in the<\/span> Meridian<\/span> Circle project<\/span> on La<\/span> Palma<\/span> and later<\/span> in<\/span> the construction of the<\/span> Tycho<\/span>-1 and<\/span> Tycho<\/span>-2 catalogues.<\/span> In 2002<\/span> he joined<\/span> the Gaia Data Access and Analysis <\/span>Study (GDAAS) carried out by<\/span> GMV<\/span> (Madrid<\/span>) and the University of<\/span> Barcelona.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Based in<\/span> Barcelona since 2005<\/span>, he works in the Gaia consortium wth the analysis of CCD images, the astrometry and photometry, the payload configuration, the validation of Gaia results and the various aspects of publishing the data. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
