Dr.<\/span> Holger<\/span> Voss<\/span> is a<\/span> researcher involved in<\/span> the calibration of<\/span> photometric<\/span> and spectrophotometric<\/span> data<\/span> in<\/span> CU5<\/span> Gaia<\/span> DPAC<\/span>. He studied physics<\/span> at the Free<\/span> University of Berlin<\/span> and received his<\/span> doctorate at the<\/span> Technical University of Berlin<\/span> developed<\/span> a search<\/span> from<\/span> land<\/span> transits of<\/span> extrasolar<\/span> planets (<\/span>Berlin Exoplanet<\/span> Search<\/span> Telescope)<\/span> for the German<\/span> Aerospace Center (<\/span>DLR<\/span>) in support of the<\/span> space mission<\/span> CoRoT<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is currently involved<\/span> in<\/span> internal calibration<\/span> internal<\/span> Gaia<\/span> photometric<\/span> data<\/span> in<\/span> the<\/span> G<\/span> band<\/span> and the selection of<\/span> stars<\/span> photometric<\/span> standards<\/span>. It also helps<\/span> in characterizing the<\/span> instrument<\/span> and determination<\/span> of parameters for<\/span> data management<\/span> on board.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It also contributes<\/span> to the process of<\/span> data validation<\/span> before<\/span> they are published.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He is actively contributes to<\/span> public disclosure<\/span> by<\/span> communication tools<\/span> and<\/span> social networking<\/span> activities<\/span> with<\/span> model rockets<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
